Gossip Girl is an American youth series, which was created by Hosh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. The narrator of the series is a blogger, "Gossip Girl" with an unknown identity (Kristen Bell's voice); she describes the scandalous lives of students at a private school on the Upper East Side in New York. The series begins with a return to Serena van der Woodsen's Upper East Side (Blake Lively) from a mysterious stay at a boarding school in Connecticut. No one knows why she left, and why she came back. Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester), Queen Constance Billard, and at the same time a former friend of Serena, is not happy about her return, unlike her boyfriend, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford), who not only sympathized with Serena.
