"The Crown" is based on real events, but it’s also an engaging story, original script, charismatic actors and wonderful costumes. It's not just the history of Great Britain. The series touches the core of world politics, and also is the background of the greatest events of the 20th century. It' s one of the most expensive productions of Netflix. It is worth noting that the music for the series was composed by none other than Hans Zimmermann.
The second season of "The Crown"
is the last with Claire Foy, loved by the audience, before Olivia Colman replaces her as Queen Elizabeth. Similarly, the rest of the cast, headed by Matt Smith, change. Michael C. Hall joins the cast as US President - John F Kennedy. In the new series there is a lot about the relationship between Queen and Prince Philip and about his alleged infidelity. Also, in season 2 appears the theme of the marriage of Princess Margaret with Lord Snowdon. The action starts in ‘54 and it also largely concerns events not directly related to the queen and the life at the royal court.
